Profile
Inside the ring.
Vito Mielnicki Jr. has been on the radar of serious boxing observers since he was a teenager. A four-time Junior National Golden Gloves champion with a 147-22 amateur record, he turned pro in 2019 at seventeen years old and has campaigned across welterweight, light middleweight, and now middleweight.
In 2025, Mielnicki announced himself at the world level. In June he beat the previously undefeated Kamil Gardzielik over ten rounds to win the IBF USBA, IBO Americas, and WBC USA Middleweight titles. In November, on The Ring IV card in Riyadh, he stopped the previously undefeated Samuel Nmomah in the ninth round to claim the vacant WBO Global Middleweight title. He enters 2026 ranked WBO #2 at middleweight.
He trains in Houston with Ronnie Shields, the veteran coach who has cornered the Charlo brothers, Vernon Forrest, Erislandy Lara, and Evander Holyfield. The nickname "White Magic" speaks to a polished, slick style that contrasts with the firepower his record suggests.
